Corliss JacksonCorliss Taylor Jackson, MPA is an expert on the Federal Government's hiring process.  As a former GS-15 Human Resources Manager, she has over 10 years of hands-on work experience at the Office of Personnel Management and the US Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health.  She continues to broaden her experience as President and CEO of Federal Job Results by providing consulting services to various Federal Government agencies in the areas of recruiting and hiring.  Ms. Jackson's experience working with the Federal Government as a GS-15 Manager and now as a Consultant provides her with a unique "insider's view" of the Federal hiring process.  She utilizes this expertise to translate her client's background into the special "Federal language" and "Federal format" required to gain the attention of the Federal hiring staff.
 
As a Certified Federal Career Counselor, Certified Federal Job Search Specialist and Certified Federal Resume Specialist, she is a community-focused business woman committed to helping professionals in transition during this challenging economic period.  Ms. Jackson and her staff provide individual guidance to job seekers around the world and deliver several on-line and traditional training courses on how to "Crack the Code" of the Federal hiring process.  They provide expert guidance on qualifying for Federal jobs, writing Federal resumes that get positive results and addressing KSAs using a powerful formula.  Ms. Jackson is responsible for creating hundreds of Federal applications resulting in an extraordinary track record of client referrals, interviews and Federal job offers.

Corliss Jackson holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  She earned the designation of Certified Professional with the International Personnel Management Association and is an active volunteer with multiple community organizations.   Ms. Jackson has recently been featured on WUSA 9 and News Channel 8.

Robin Joy Brandt, Ph.D. has over twenty years of professional consulting experience in career transition, mentoring relationships, job search and individual coaching.  She has worked with private sector and federal employees across numerous companies and agencies to assist in career progression onsite and via web-based training initiatives.  Joining Corliss Jackson in 2009, Dr. Brandt is helping expand outreach to federal job seekers via web-based training and website development tools.  Her knowledge of the career transition process and public and private sector job markets enables managers and senior staff to fully achieve their potential during shifting economic times.

In addition to career transition, Dr. Brandt created the master blue print for mentoring relationships with Department of Labor Human Resources and presented her model to the Clinton Administration’s Women’s Task Force for use in all government agencies.  Serving in both consulting and sales roles, she enables seamless delivery in numerous human resources as well as (skill transfer to other areas) topics. Her expertise includes counseling to senior executives during change initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, down- and right-sizing to maximize individual leader effectiveness and personal transition. In addition, Dr. Brandt conducts relevant assessment processes to benchmark and identify skill gaps for individuals and organizations.  She has conducted process facilitations for intact, virtual or cross-functional work groups to improve collaborative problem-solving and decision-making skills by disclosing barriers to effective team process dynamics, interpersonal communication and potential impact on internal/external client relationships.

Dr. Brandt holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech; a Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D. in Counseling and Development from The American University.   Dr. Brandt is a sought-after speaker, most recently speaking at various training school commencement ceremonies.  She is an avid tennis fan and an active member of the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA).

Cecelia M. Taylor, Ph.D. joins Federal Job Results with over 40 years of experience as a nurse clinician, nurse educator, and administrator in public health care institutions and private institutions of higher education.  She has a long history of success in writing for and receiving Federal monies designed to further the goals of the institution for which she worked.

Dr. Taylor is an accomplished writer, having authored a major textbook and numerous professional articles.  She has served as Associate Editor of a national, professional journal and her expertise as an editor is often requested to critique and edit a variety of manuscripts.  Additionally, she has written numerous Federal grants and serves as an academic advisor to many students in Master’s level programs, most recently at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. 

One of Dr. Taylor’s major strengths is consultation with public and private sector agencies concerned with health care delivery and education.  She is a sought-after consultant helping institutions to improve the delivery of services.  As a consultant, she is also highly effective in helping individuals achieve their personal and career goals.  She is often called upon to help individuals clarify their goals, identify the skill sets necessary to achieve these goals, and design action plans to develop these skill sets.  Her abilities are particularly useful to those considering career changes.  

Dr. Taylor has a B.S. with a major in nursing from Wagner College, an M.A. in Education with a major in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from New York University and a Ph.D. in Higher Education/Administration from Syracuse University.  She served in a senior administrative role as Director of the Graduate Program and as Interim Dean of the School of Nursing at Syracuse University and as Chair of the Department of Nursing and Vice-President and Dean of Academic Affairs at The College of St. Scholastica, from which she retired as Professor Emerita.    


Edith Borg joined Federal Job Results in 2009 to assist with Federal resume writing.  Ms. Borg has a solid background in and a passion for writing.  Prior to joining Federal Job Results, Edith started and managed several small businesses while simultaneously raising her two small children as a stay-at-home mom.
Edith was a technical writer for SAIC, a leading provider of scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services and solutions to the Federal government.  Serving as a contractor to the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization, she authored training materials and wrote User Manuals for Federal employees.  In that capacity, she trained key Government employees on using a tracking website.

Most recently, Edith has remained active running her businesses and working at her children’s elementary school as a volunteer. 

Ms. Borg earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University in 1998.
